What is Slit Seeding?

Slit seeding is a process by using a mechanical device that cuts through the soil and directly inserts the seeds into the soil. With this, it would efficiently increase the germination rate and grow your lawn grass sooner.

When seeding a lawn, it’s best to plant grass seeds directly in the soil. Most of the time, a layer of “thatch” would be sitting on top of the soil that would prevent those seeds from reaching the soil. Should those grass seeds germinate, overall they will be weak.

If your lawn is thinning out or you want it thicker, slit seeding is what we recommend. Using a quality grass seed, your property will have thicker and healthier-looking lawn.
